CUSTOM BOOTS are boots that are built one at a time by hand to fit the individual foot.
At EMORY BOOTS the bootmaker takes the measurements, creates patterns, selects leather materials, and builds the individual boot to the customer's specifications. The result is not a pre-made boot that the customer tries to fit his or her foot into, but a boot built to fit that particular person's foot and designed for their individual needs.
Every step, from the measuring of the foot to the final construction of the boot, is carried out on the premises in our one-man shop. Bootmaker Emory B. Wilson will build the entire boot from start to finish. He is, therefore, able to exercise the strictest control over every cut and every stitch that goes into the finished product. There is no assembly line. There is no separate shoe fitter or salesman. The hands that hold your foot and take the measurements are the same hands that build the boots. There is no finer measure of a quality custom-made boot.
